As Senior Business Manager and Principal at Tamar Fink over the last 14 years, Michael’s involvement includes all practice groups of Tamar Fink Policy Audit Advisors, Tamar Fink Charitable Advisors, and Tamar Fink Advanced Planning Advisors.
To these roles at Tamar Fink, Michael brings extensive business acumen and experience gained as a corporate executive and industry consultant in key manufacturing and technology sectors. His understanding of the financial services industries and experience in advanced business and estate plans provides depth to his client advice, giving them the best options to meet their planning objectives.
Previous to joining Tamar Fink, Michael served as president of KWA Metals, Inc. His 19-year term culminated with a highly successful divestiture in 1998. As an independent and trusted advisor, he has consulted industry leaders as well as government agencies and their advisors. His experience includes consulting Alliant Tech in the former Soviet Union, Briggs and Morgan in the city of Minneapolis, and a partnership with a division of Nissan Motor Corporation.
Michael remains an active community and industry participant and has chaired or served in leadership positions in numerous influential professional associations.
